Conglomerate General Electric Co. reported Friday significantly improved results in its first quarter with higher revenues in most of its divisions. Industrial operating earnings + Verticals earnings topped analysts' estimates. Industrial segment organic revenues declined 1 percent. Further, the company reaffirmed its forecast for fiscal 2016 earnings and organic growth.
