ManpowerGroup (MAN) Thursday reported 9.2 percent increase in first quarter profit to $71.7 million from $65.7 million in the previous year. On a constant currency earnings were up 13.3 percent. Earnings per share for the quarter increased 18.1 percent to $0.98 from $0.83 a year ago. Per share earnings were up 21.7 percent on a constant currency.
