Stanley Black & Decker (SWK) Climbed To A New High After Q1 Profit Beat

Stanley Black & Decker (SWK) reported first quarter EPS of $1.28 Thursday morning, compared to $1.07 in the previous year. Street expectations were for EPS of $1.14. The company also increased its full year EPS forecast to between $6.20 and $6.40, from prior expectations of $6.00 to $6.20. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $6.17.
