Daimler AG (DDAIF.PK) reported that its second-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders increased to 2.43 billion euros from 2.27 billion euros, last year. Earnings per share rose to 2.27 euros from 2.12 euros. Group EBIT for the second quarter amounted to 3.26 billion euros compared to 3.72 billion euros, last year. Group EBIT adjusted for special items was 3.97 billion euros compared to 3.76 billion euros, prior year.
