J. M. Smucker Co. (SJM) reported first quarter adjusted EPS of $1.86 Tuesday morning, compared to $1.60 last year. Net sales decreased 7 percent to $1.82 billion from last year's $1.95 billion. Analysts expected EPS of $1.74 and revenues of $1.89 billion.
