German defense contractor Rheinmetall AG (RNMBF.PK) reported Thursday that earnings before interest and taxes or EBIT for the Group for the first nine months of 2016 grew 30 percent to 182 million euros from last year's 140 million euros. Earnings per share for the period were 2.22 euros, up from 1.89 euros in the prior-year period.
