Omnova Solutions Inc. (OMN) Wednesday announced first quarter net profit of $3.6 million compared to loss of $1.1 million last year. On a per share basis, the company recorded $0.08 compared to loss of $0.03 in the previous year. On an adjusted basis, earnings were $0.05 per share.
