Caterpillar Inc. (CAT) reported first quarter EPS of $1.28 Tuesday morning, up from $0.64 in the prior year period. Street expectations were for EPS of $0.62. The company expects to report full year EPS of about $3.75, up from prior expectations of about $2.90. Analysts are expecting EPS of $3.26.
