Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) reported first quarter EPS of $1.00 Thursday morning, up from $0.98 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $0.96. Second quarter EPS is expected to be between $1.00 and $1.08. Street expectations are for EPS of $1.07.
