Itron Inc. (ITRI) announced Monday morning that it has agreed to acquire all outstanding shares of Silver Spring Networks Inc. (SSNI) for $16.25 per share in cash. The transaction is valued at about $830 million, net of $118 million of Silver Spring's cash.
