The bench to bedside journey of drugs is no easy task. Some drug candidates fail to complete the journey, while many make it to the finish line only after undergoing numerous obstacles. So far this year, 34 novel drugs have already received FDA approval whereas for the full year of 2016, just 22 novel drugs were approved. Let's take a look at the new drugs approved in September 2017.
