Smurfit Kappa Group plc (SKG.L), a provider of paper-based packaging solutions, on Wednesday reported pre-exceptional profit before income tax of 938 million euros for the full year ending 31 December 2018, up 56 percent from 601 million euros in the previous-year quarter. Pre-exceptional basic earnings per share were 292.2 cents, up from 185.3 cents a year ago.
