FDA Approves First Treatment For Peanut Allergy

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the first ever drug to treat peanut allergy, a life-threatening condition mainly for kids. Aimmune Therapeutics Inc.'s Palforzia [Peanut (Arachis hypogaea) Allergen Powder-dnfp] can now be used to treat patients aged 4 through 17 years. The Palforzia drug reportedly will list for $890 a month.
