Business software giant Oracle Corp. (ORCL), Tuesday reported a drop in profit for the third quarter, as revenues declined reflecting strong U.S. dollar. Nevertheless, earnings for the quarter trumped Wall Street estimates, while revenues fell short of expectations, sending shares up by about 4 percent in the after-hours trading.
