Glencore Plc. (GLCNF.PK, GLNCY.PK, GLEN.L) said that its own sourced copper production for the first quarter declined 4 percent from the year-ago period to 335 thousand tonnes, reflecting the suspensions/reductions in Africa, partly offset by increased production from South America.
