Stage Stores Inc. (SSI) reported a first quarter adjusted loss of $0.56 Thursday morning, compared to the loss of $0.26 last year. Analysts expected a loss of $0.47. Full year EPS is expected to be between $0.20 and $0.40, down from prior expectations of $0.40 to $0.60. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.45.
