Altria Group Inc. (MO) Thursday reported 28.5 percent decline in third quarter net earnings attributable to the company to $1.093 billion from $1.528 billion in the prior year. On a per share basis, earnings declined to $0.56 from $0.78 a year ago. On an adjusted basis, earnings were $0.82 per share.
