Swedish telecommunication company Telia Co. AB (0H6X.L, TLSNY.PK) reported that its first-quarter total net income attributable to the owners of the parent increased 85.4 percent to 6.98 billion Swedish Kronor from 3.77 billion last year. Earnings per share were 1.61 krona, up from 0.87 krona in the prior-year period.
