German energy company E.ON AG reported Wednesday a net profit in its first half, compared to prior year's loss. Adjusted EBIT, a key earnings metric, meanwhile declined with weak sales. The company further announced its plans to raise dividend payout ratio, and also reaffirmed its forecast for full-year 2017.
