ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (ASX) Wednesday reported a sharp fall in second quarter net profit attributable to the shareholders of the parent to NT$2.690 billion from NT$11.46 billion in the prior year. On a per share basis, earnings were NT$0.62 or $0.40, compared to NT$2.69 or $0.182 last year. The financial results after April 30, 2018, reflect full quarters of combined operations following the completion of the merger.
