Germany-based Dragerwerk AG (DRWKF.PK) said that its first-quarter earnings before income taxes or EBIT was negative 15.7 million euros, compared to positive 1.1 million euros in the prior-year quarter. The company noted that the negative result was due to decline in gross profit.
