RBS Posts Wider Loss From Cont. Ops. In H1 - Quick Facts

Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC (RBS, RBS.L) reported that its first-half loss from continuing operations widened to 614 million pounds from a loss of 26 million pounds, previous year. Basic loss per ordinary share from continuing operations was 17.6 pence compared to a loss of 2.2 pence. Attributable loss was 2.05 billion pounds compared to a loss of 179 million pounds. Operating loss before tax was 274 million pounds compared to profit of 261 million pounds.
