Intertek Group Plc (ITRK.L), a provider of quality and safety services, said its first-half pre-tax profit increased 7.3% year-over-year to 149.2 million pounds from 139.1 million pounds, with adjusted pre-tax profit increasing 15.1% to 172.5 million pounds.
